Scheduling Policies

We sincerely thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be of service to you!

It is our goal to provide you with an extraordinary experience at our practice, and to do so in a friendly, organized, and professional manner. Thanks to your dedication to your health and wellness, Ferguson Family Chiropractic is thriving! We feel incredibly blessed to have such an abundance of wonderful individuals and families coming to our practice for their chiropractic needs.

With our practice being as popular as it is, it is important that our staff have the ability to manage the flow of visits as effectively as is possible. Below, you will find a list of our scheduling and appointment policies. These policies have been put in place in interest of serving you, our family, in the best way possible.

We highly encourage all of our practice members to schedule their appointments as far in advance as possible. Most of our members will schedule at least one week in advance, if not greater; And as such, appointment spots are substantially harder to acquire on short notice, especially for groups over two persons. Ferguson Family Chiropractic cannot guarantee that an appointment spot will be available on any given day or at any given time.

As Mr. Drew says, “Life is what happens when we make plans”. As such, we understand that, at times, exceptions to these policies will need to be made; However, we ask that our practice members follow these policies to aid our staff in maintaining the exceptional experience we at Ferguson Family Chiropractic have promised to you.

  1. All types of appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at a minimum of 24 hours prior to the originally scheduled appointment time. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment by using the SKED app on your mobile device (if equipped), by texting our office at (770) 966-7535, or by calling our office at (770) 966 -1800.

  2. Effective 11/1/2023, any appointments which are cancelled or rescheduled may be subject to a $40.00 late cancellation/rescheduling fee. Additionally, and appointments which are missed without any notification to Ferguson Family Chiropractic ("No-show") also may be subject to a $40.00 fee.

  3. Under emergency circumstances, appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours prior notice. To do so, you must text our office at (770) 966 -7535 or call our office at (770) 966 -1800. Appointments cannot be cancelled or rescheduled through the SKED app (if equipped) less than 24 hours in advance of the originally scheduled appointment time.

  4.  As of 9/1/2022, Ferguson Family Chiropractic has initiated a three-strike policy for missed visits (“no call/no shows”). If an individual member or family group misses three visits within a one-month period without providing effective communication to Ferguson Family Chiropractic, any other pre-scheduled visits for that individual member or family group may be removed from our appointment book until a more achievable schedule can be arranged. After new arrangements have been made, should the member or family group continue to miss visits without providing notification to Ferguson Family Chiropractic, any of those missed visits may be forfeited from the members Care Program. If the member is not enrolled in a Care Program (per-visit), the member will be responsible for a no call/no show fee of $40.00

  5.  Ferguson Family Chiropractic does not accept walk-in visits for persons who are not existing members of our practice.

  6.  While Ferguson Family Chiropractic does accept walk-in visits for existing members, scheduled appointments will take priority over walk-in visits. Walk-in visits will be fit into our schedule as it allows on a first-come/first-serve basis after any person(s) with scheduled appointments have been served. As such, Ferguson Family Chiropractic cannot guarantee the duration of time a person who has walked-in without an appointment will have to wait before being seen. Any estimations of wait time for a person or persons who have walked-in without an appointment are strictly estimations and are subject to change depending on the volume of clients with pre-scheduled appointment who are present in office at that time.

  7.  As of 1/1/2022, Ferguson Family Chiropractic does not allow for more than two members of a group/family to present in our office for walk-in visits without an appointment on any given day. Groups of three or more persons must schedule an appointment in advance in order to be seen in our office on any given day or at any given time.

  8. Ferguson Family Chiropractic cannot guarantee that persons who have walked in without an appointment will be able to see the doctor of their preference, if one preferred. As a standard policy, persons who have walked in without an appointment will be seen by the first doctor available and only after persons who have a scheduled appointment have been served.

  9. Requests to specifically see any one of our doctors must be addressed with, and directly scheduled by, our front desk staff in advance of the appointment time. Appointment times to see that specific doctor will be offered as they are available.     We cannot guarantee the ability to accommodate any requests to specifically see one of our doctors if that request is not arranged with our front desk in advance of the appointment.

  10. Should anyone who has an appointment to specifically see one of our doctors arrive to our office at a time before the scheduled appointment, they will have to wait until their scheduled time to be seen. Should anyone who has an appointment to specifically see one of our doctors arrive to our office after their scheduled appointment time, they forfeit their ability to see their doctor of preference and will bee seen by the first doctor available.
